ABOUT STACY
Stacy Willoughby is a passionate leader, community builder, and proven problem-solver running to represent Washington's 12th Legislative District in the State Legislature. A Washington native who grew up living all over the world, Stacy has called the mountains above Lake Chelan home since 2017, where she lives with her husband, Rick, their two dogs, and seven chickens. With over two decades in financial services, she has seen firsthand how issues like housing affordability and rising taxes impact regular people and working families across our communities.
Rooted in service, Stacy brings decades of hands-on leadership in Chelan County and beyond. She loves working with neighbors, small business owners, families, and community partners to tackle the challenges facing everyday people from Wenatchee and Chelan to Monroe and into King and Snohomish Counties. She is committed to expanding housing options that make sense for each community, cutting through excessive building codes and permitting burdens, ensuring tax fairness for rural families and small businesses, and encouraging young people to enter the building trades where they can earn a good living without student loan debt. Stacy wants to hear your ideas and bring them to Olympia.
At her core, Stacy is driven by one simple belief: government should work for people, not special interests or partisan politics. She believes that when we invest in our communities and lift up working families, the whole district thrives. Stacy's leadership reflects the values of the 12th: hardworking, practical, fiscally responsible, and committed to solutions that improve lives across rural and mountain communities as well as growing suburban areas newly part of the district.
